Tata Docomo Launches Tata Photon Walky with Low Tariff Plans

On Monday, Tata Docomo that is the flagship brand of Tata Teleservices announced the launch of a Wi-Fi capable device called Tata Photon Walky. The device works fine on both landlines and Wi-Fi hotspots. Also, it lets users to connect a maximum of five devices simultaneously, revealed the firm in an official statement.

The Tata Photon Walky is priced at Rs 2,099 and there is a monthly tariff plan that starts from Rs 499 for 3 GB that includes 300 minutes of local and STD minutes as well. There is an 8 GB plan along with the Tata Photon Walky that is priced at Rs 999 for 1,000 local or STD minutes.

This device becomes the most affordable wireless land line broadband Wi-Fi connectivity with calling and connectivity for Rs 499. This is pretty cheaper in comparison to the existing landline broadband plans that start from Rs 900. For this reason, this Tata Phone Walky device becomes the most competitive and cheapest device in terms of tariff plans as well.

This new Tata Photon Walky device is portable and it can be taken anywhere to avail connectivity on the go. The device supports data download for a speed up to 3.2 Mbps as well. The multi-purpose portable wireless device is aimed to render the ability to make calls and browse the internet while users are on the go.

With this Tata Phone Walky device, users need not rely on a third part Wi-Fi network. They can create their own Wi-Fi zones and connect to the internet. The device’s setup is easy and simple, and it can be enabled by pressing the Wi-Fi key on to start Wi-Fi hotspot services.
