Twitter has now become the second choice after the TV breakfast and according to Global Web Index, more than half of the football lovers in India preferred Twitter as a medium to access news as the news breaks faster on Twitter. The research further shows that 87 per cent of the Twitter users in India will be watching World Cup this time.
