Ferrari makes a comeback in India, sets up new dealership

The luxury sports car manufacturer based in Italy, Ferrari is all set for a comeback in the Indian market with the debut of couple of new dealerships in the country. The car maker claims that the Indian market is a strategic market for them.

Back in 2014, the firm made tie ups with Shreyans Group that was its exlcusive distributor in the country. Ferrari will be resuming with selling its vehicles inIndiaby the end of the first quarter of this year. Ferrari has also announced in an official statement that its appointment of two new dealers is to extend its official presence in the country that is a strategic market for the manufacturer.

Notably, Ferrari benefits from a passionate and enthusiastic follower base in India and it is firmly committed to offer class leading sales and enhanced after sales services to its customers in the country, added the official statement.

The new dealerships of Ferrari are located inDelhiand Mumbai. Ferrari has appointed a dedicated sales and service centre, Select Cars Pvt. Ltd at Mohan Co-operative Industrial Estate,Mathura RoadinNew Delhiand the same is also an earlier established client base. The new Mumbai dealership, Navnit Motors Pvt. Ltd. located at Waterford Bldg,C D Burfiwala Road, Andheri is aimed at engaging new and existing owners inWestern India. These two new dealerships are aimed to enable the firm cater to the requirements of the new and existing customers in the country, revealed the official statement of Ferrari.

Back in 2011, when Ferrari entered the Indian market, the auto maker appointed Shreyans Group as its official importer in the country. In 2014, the vendor ended the association with the country’s importer as it came across with increasing customer complaints.

Previously, Ferrari was selling FerrariCalifornia, 458 Italia and 599GTB Fiorano in the country. These products were priced in the range between Rs 2.2 crore and Rs 3.4 crore.
