Suneet Varma, a fashion designer is launching a new ready to wear lineup almost after nine years since the time he shut down a store that was opened in Delhi for that purpose. He had to shut the store as the authorities brought down that specific shopping complex due to illegal construction of the same.
Now, Suneet Varma has come up with a new ready to wear lineup of apparels so that he will not have to be bothered of the authorities again. The new lineup by the designed is available online and the label will be pretty affordable, he said.
It is not only Varma to sought after the online stores to launch their lineup, but a large number of popular fashion designers in India also resort to the same solutions. Some of them include Raghavendra Rathore, Rohit Bal, JJ Valaya, Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla, Vikram Phadnis, Manish Arora, Ritu Kumar and Gaurav Gupta. They are looking forward to achieve the most from the online shopping spree happening in the country by launching affordable ready to wear lineups that can reach the buyers across the country.
Most designers are creating new lines of apparels for portals such as Snapdeal, Amazon, Myntra-Flipkart and Jabong. These products are more affordable in comparison to the core offerings that are bought by the wealthy class. For instance, the RTW line by Varma will include western wear carrying an average price bracket of Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000 and the starting price of the line include Rs 1,100. As of now, he is involved in typing up with an online store to sell his label.
The e-commerce portals are enthusiastic to rope in the designers for their exclusive lines as it will help them lure shoppers. Notably, Jabong is working with designers who will soon start providing consumers customization and made to measure options. Also, Snapdeal has tied up with top designers including Ritu Kumar and Manish Arora to launch a new fashion platform called The Designer Studio. Furthermore, the firm is in discussion with 10 other established designers as well for partnership.
