Lenovo K3 Note with Octa Core SoC and 4G LTE Launched in India for Rs 9,999

The Chinese tech manufacturer Lenovo is in an objective to be one of the top three smartphone vendors in India in a few quarters. In order to reach its goal, the firm is expanding its product portfolio and increasing its presence in the offline market.

The global Sales Executive Director of Lenovo Smartphone, Dillon Ye stated that globally the firm is among the top three vendors, and thatIndiais a significant market for the firm. He further stated that he is bullish to reach one of the top three positions inIndiaas well.

Lenovo acquired Motorola last year for a deal of $2.9 million and together the firm has a market share of 5.6 percent in the global smartphone market. Eventually, it ranks the third cumulatively with Samsung and Apple in the lead. This is the statistics for the first quarter of 2015.

InIndia, Lenovo and Motorola together could not make it to the top five in the last quarter of 2014, but Sudhin Mathur, the Director of India of Lenovo Smartphones claimed that the situation will change in the coming quarters. He stated that there will be a drastic change in the latest numbers once they are announced.

As a part of the expansion of its portfolio, Lenovo has announced the K3 Note inIndiaalong with Flipkart for a price of Rs 9,999. The device features a 5.5 inch display and it is equipped with a 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6572 processor that is teamed up with 2 GB of RAM. The device features 16 GB of native storage space that can be further expanded by another 32 GB using a micro SD card slot.

The Lenovo K3 Note is a dual SIM device that is fueled by Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and supports LG LTE connectivity. The device is energized by a 3,000 mAh battery that can pump a decent backup to it.

The Lenovo K3 Note will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart for Rs 9,999 from July 8. The registrations for the K3 Note sale are already open.
