Leading direct selling consumer goods company, Amway is planning to set up their Rs 400 crore manufacturing plant in Tamilnadu as repoted by company sources. The company does not own a production space in India and is looking out a location with sea connectivity for bringing in the raw materials. About 30% of business for Amway in India is contributed by Tamilnadu. The company have registered turnover of Rs 2130 crore in 2011 and expects to cross Rs 2500 cr in 2012.
