Aug 11, 2012: Ratan Tata, the chairman of India’s largest automobile company, Tata Motors bid his farewell to the shareholders. While speaking on the occasion, he expressed his disappointment in losing out to Mahindra in the Passenger vehicle segment. Expressing his views on future competition in the commercial vehicles segment, Tata said, the company will have to focus and aggressively try to retain and protect its market position across all segments.
He also spoke on his dream project of Nano and hoped that the project will go on and the plan is to roll out 2 lakhs cars in an years time.
