Recently, both Facebook and P&G have recently released Television Commercial campaigns under the production company Offroad Films. The campaign for Facebook is called “It’s Between You” for WhatsApp in India and campaigns for P&G are called “Dust & Pollution” and Physical Touch.

The main aim of both the campaigns was to exhibit the challenges that are being faced during lockdown and quarantine and to stay connected virtually with near and dear ones. Most of us are depressed and frustrated in some way due to the current situation. If we could see the other side of the campaign it makes us understand that living or helping or staying connected with your loved ones makes you feel confident, relaxed peaceful. In short, living for others as well.

The first global campaign of Facebook was directed by filmmaker Gauri Shinde. The film exhibits how Indian people communicate with their close circles on WhatsApp. Two films are there. Each narrates or exhibits the need, help, and care required during this hard time.

The campaign for P&G Head & Shoulders was directed by Ishaan Nair with the supervising cinematographer Jay Oza. The shoot was done virtually. This campaign also consists of two films. As said earlier one is Dust & Pollution and the other is Physical Touch. Both films exhibit the issues and solutions for Dandruff.

Both the campaigns have executed the work virtually.

The founder and executive producer of Offroad Films Khalil Bachooali said that communication was the main key to the project and the preparation was the crucial part. Since we all are in isolation and quarantine, all the shoots were made virtually by training and supervising the crew to handle the equipment and ensuring no technical issues occur during the actual shoot.

The big challenge in shooting would be training the artists and their family members virtually for the shoot.

Khalil also added that the project had a very good team and they were adhering to it from the start to end. All these coronavirus situations will get resolved soon and the world will get back to normal but Offroad films don’t need that she added.
