OnePlus’ smartphone, the OnePlus 8T, has been launched on 14th October 2020. The phone is the next big release from the company which is probably going to take the market by storm upon its release.
The OnePlus 8T launched in India at an occasion that has been live-streamed in India at 7:30 pm on 14th October 2020 from OnePlus‘ Youtube channel and its other social media handles.
The phone is launched in 8GB RAM variant with 128GB storage which can cost Rs 42,999 and the price of the 12GB variant with 256GB storage is Rs 45,999. The pricing would see the OnePlus 8T look favorable compared to its existing line-up of devices, and also help differentiate it from the OnePlus Nord and OnePlus 8 series devices. And ahead of its launch, we even have some information about the internals of the device. While some have come courtesy of leaks, the other has been teased by the company itself.
According to the most recent information teased by the company, the OnePlus 8T will have a brand new front camera set-up, which appears like it might be an upgrade on what was seen on the OnePlus 8.
The OnePlus 8T will get an ultra-wide-angle lens housed in a punch-hole on the front of the phone, as per the teaser shared via the company’s Twitter handle. There is confirmation from OnePlus that the phone will include an AMOLED panel which will run at a quick refresh rate of 120Hz. The information on the OnePlus 8T screen is officially available from OnePlus, completed with its testing notes from Display Mate that rates it very highly. The OnePlus 8T screen will be using a new 2.5D flexible glass which will be helping the display to shine in a brighter manner, reaching a peak brightness of whopping 1,000 nits, while the color accuracy is going to be “the highest possible across the industry”, OnePlus confirmed.
In the past, OnePlus also confirmed some of the key details about the smartphone, with tipsters also revealing key details about the OnePlus 8T. As per the reports, the phone will be coming with up to 12GB of RAM as well as 256GB of storage, paired with a Snapdragon 865+ processor.
Another feature confirmation that we’ve from OnePlus is quicker charging on the OnePlus 8T. The company confirms that by using the company’s new Warp Charge 65 solution the phone will be offering “Ultra-Fast” charging speeds for the tuning of 65W. This can be paired to a 4500mAh battery pack. More information on the device will be known in the coming days as the device has been launched recently.
