The Jaguar I-Pace, the planet car of the year 2019, will now finally be launched in India in 2021. The vehicle which is widely acclaimed by critics everywhere on the planet has now announced that the primary I-Pace has landed on Indian shores at JNPT near Mumbai. The SUV is undergoing extensive testing and validation before its launch, which is anticipated this year.

The President & director of Jaguar Land Rover India, Rohit Suri said, “We are delighted to share with you pictures of the primary Jaguar I-PACE in India. The I-PACE marks a big milestone in Jaguar Land Rover’s journey in India, as we modify for an electrified future.”

The upcoming EV is offered in three trim levels – S, SE, and HSE and can be seen in an exceedingly single powertrain option (EV400), stunning Firenze Red, and maybe a top-of-the-line HSE variant. Stocked up with a 90-kWh lithium-ion battery, the I-PACE produces 294 kW and 696 Nm torque, helping it accelerate from 0-100 km/h in precisely 4.8 s, which makes it nearly corresponding to the sports car figures. A single-speed gearbox could be a reminder that the acceleration won’t only be instantaneous but relentless too, all the far to its top speed and 12,000rpm ceiling.

The first Jaguar I-PACE in India comes loaded with lots of fancy techs and features. The highlights of this car include Matrix LED headlights (HSE only), 8-way semi-powered sport seats, 380W Meridian system, Interactive Driver Display, 3D Surround Camera, Driver Condition Monitor, Animated Directional Indicators, 16-way leather sport seats, 825W Meridian 3D Surround electronic equipment, Head-up display, Adaptive control and even way more. The magnificent elements that are provided within the interiors and also the full panoramic sunroof of this electric vehicle gives it an expensive touch.

Jaguar’s PIVI Pro will herald connected car tech together with Jaguar’s InControl app to deliver a number of connectivity features. Active dampers and air suspension promise a supple ride and flat cornering thus making it an ideal mix for a performance SUV.

The stunning Jaguar I-PACE has won over 80 global awards and plenty of other accolades and even comprises the celebrated World Car of the Year, World Car Design of the year, and World Green Car in 2019. This is often the primary vehicle to win all of the three World Car titles within the 15-year history of the awards, and again fortifying its status because of the best electric luxury SUV.
