Dolby Labs announces the ‘Dolby Atmos Music Mix Engineers Honour Club’ – a unique program to recognize and reward the Music Mix Engineers in India. Through this annual program, Dolby plans to find the works of different music mix engineers and recognize their contribution to the industry, along with, inspiring them to create more music in Dolby Atmos for an immersive experience.
The program is for the Music Mix Engineers from India who have mixed music in Dolby Atmos before under a list of terms & conditions. Entries will be reviewed by Dolby and depending on the number of tracks they will be rewarded under five segments – Platinum (500 tracks), Gold (250 tracks), Century (100 tracks), Silver (50 tracks) & Certificate (10 tracks).
Music mixing is a creative process that involves art as well as science. This program certainly is aspirational for people learning music to become music mix engineers. Dolby is also offering a platform for upcoming music mix engineers to learn and enhance their skills. The list of members who made it to the Dolby Atmos Music Mix Engineers Honour Club will be announced periodically through the official site of Dolby.
