The entry-level segment of Xiaomi’s Mi is completely unprecedented. All the iterations in the past was a huge success. Xiaomi is looking forward to bringing the Mi band 6. In the last year, the Mi Band 5 launched back in China and it has health features and 100 watch faces. The Mi Band 5 was introduced with a magnetic charger instead of the usual charger. The company initiates the smart band in India by September.
The latest news from a website that mostly reports about Xiaomi and Huami wearables declares that a new device codenamed “Pangu” with model number XMSH16HM. This particular device found during the scrutiny of Zepp App previously known as Amazift hence, confirming the arrival of the Mi Band 6. A decent amount of information is available about the upcoming wearable. The Mi Band 6 is attempting to come up with the features like SpO2 sensor, Alexa Support, and more. Another important specification is the upcoming smart band is built-in GPS. The MI band 6 is following the same language as the Mi band 5 with very subtle changes. As per the collected information the upcoming smart band will have a china variant (XMSH15HM) and a global variant (XMSH16HM).
The Mi Band 6 would definitely see a higher resolution display. The resource file says that this band will be able to display the emoji and it may also get an SPO2 sensor, Alexa support, and over 30 dedicated sports modes. Another feature added with it is the users can decline the calls with automatic replies like – “I am driving, please call me later and more”. This band can track the 24-hour heart rate tracking and sleep tracking and the data related to it. The Mi band 6 will display all the notifications from the 300 popular apps. It supports different sports activities like Gymnastics, Basketball, Badminton, Indoor fitness, Cricket, etc.
As per the information, the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 is expected to launch in China and then worldwide including India. Most probably the launch would be somewhere around June 2021. The different versions of the Xiaomi Mi band have been a huge success. So, the Mi band 6 will have to go that extra mile to be stand out from others. The price would be almost Rs 3,000 in India. The Mi Band 5 launched at the price Rs 2,499 in India.
