As Covid-19 cases increase by leaps and bounds in India, a new Google Doodle urges people to wear face masks.
Google Doodle is used to get people to comply with Covid-19 acceptable actions. Covid-19 cases are increasing by leaps and bounds in India and many other countries, prompting Google to release a new Doodle urging people to wear face masks. Google has joined authorities in warning users about their habits to increase social consciousness and preserve social distance.
When the cursor is placed over the Google symbol, all of the alphabets don a mask and space out to preserve social distance. When you click on the badge, you’ll see a message that says, “Wear a mask, Save lives.” Wear a mask, wash your mouth, and maintain a discreet distance.” Symptoms, Prevention, and Therapies are the three tabs on the message. Users can also learn how to keep the infection from spreading.
The ‘More Data’ tab on the message directs users to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare website, which provides updates on the current number of cases, recoveries, and fatalities, among other things. The animated doodle also contains links to World Health Organization posts on how to avoid Covid from spreading.
Previously, the search engine behemoth developed a tiny rhyme known as “The Mask Song.” To raise awareness about wearing a mask, the song uses a melody similar to the nursery rhyme “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.” “Sing along with Google Assistant,” the caption of the post correctly said. To learn the album, simply say, “Hey Google, sing the mask song.”
In India, daily Covid cases recently reached 1 lakh, a new high compared to last year’s peak. Maharashtra, Punjab, and Chhattisgarh are the states that have been hit the hardest.
