Mercedes-Benz launched the new A-category Limousine today at a beginning price tag of Rs. 39.9 Lakh. It will be locally manufactured at Mercedes Benz’s plant near Pune.
The A35 AMG part 2 of the AMG model which is consistent with A 200d and 200d models uses Mercedes-Benz’s global design language after GLC 43 AMG to be collected in CDK form in India.
The Model from the front is quite bringing to mind of the CLS-class, and about the rear quite same as the newly launched E-class with the sleek LED Tail Lamps.
As per sources, India will be offered Mercedes-Benz A-class Limousine in three engine variants all in their highest –spec on offer.
Mercedes-Benz A-class Limousine will come up with A 200 petrol variant powered by a 1.3-liter turbocharged engine that develops 160 hp and 250 Nm of torque.
Talking about the Mercedes Benz A-class Limousine diesel, it will come in the form of the A-200d model featured with 2.0 liter, four-cylinder turbocharged motor which develops 150 hp and 320 Nm of torque.
According to the regular petrol and diesel engines, Mercedes AMG A35 4MATIC would also be launched in India powered by the 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, it offers 306 hp and 400 Nm of torque.
In regular A-class models, there will be offered in five color options including white, Mojave silver, Iridium silver, Grey Black, and denim blue.
The A-class of Mercedes Benz will run by the latest version of the user experience(MUX) OS. The infotainment system provides three services- touchscreen, voice activation with “Hey Mercedes” and through the touchpad on the central console. Addition in to the feature you get Me to connect(MMC) which offers internet-enabled connected car technologies.
Another new feature adds in the Mercedes Benz A-200 and A 200-d models, a real push cabin with dual-tone black and beige look. Going with A35 AMG, it also features the long glass panel which includes the 10-inch driver instrument cluster and the 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The model of A-class will also be provided with an 8-year engine and transmission warranty.
We all know that the price of A200 is Rs. 39.9 lakh while A-200d is of Rs. 40.9 lakh. But, the price of A-35 AMG mode at Rs. 56.24 lakh.
