Godrej Security Solutions launched the #IAmFireSafe Campaign starring actor Ayushmann Khurana. The Fire Safety Prevention Campaign aims to raise awareness about fire hazards and preventive measures.

Godrej Security Solutions has launched the campaign in recognition of the National Fire Service Week (NSW) which is celebrated every year between 14th to 20th April. The National Fire Service Day is celebrated to pay homage to the 66 brave firefighters, who sacrificed their lives battling the fire from the 1944 Bombay Dock Explosion which occurred on 14th April 1944.

#IAmFireSafe campaign is launched as an extension of the brand’s existing nationwide campaign #BilkulSafeHai. As a part of the campaign, Godrej Security Solutions has released a DVC starring its brand ambassador, Ayushmann Khurrana who urges viewers to take the ‘I Am Fire Safe’ pledge.

The DVC emphasizes the need to safeguard oneself and save our family in times of crisis rather than wasting time retrieving material assets like money, documents or jewellery. By accentuating the importance of life, Godrej Security Solutions has tactfully designed the 15-second DVC to introduce their newest range of unique fire-resistant lockers, to save valuables in case of a fire mishap.

As a part of the #IAmFireSafe campaign launched in recognition of the National Fire Service Week, Godrej Security Solutions will be hosting a week-long fire awareness and prevention drive. The drive will include a Webinar from industry leaders from the Fire & Safety Association of India, the Fire Department of Maharashtra, and witnesses from the Kamala Mills Fire. The webinar discussions will be centred around fire security and prevention measures to fire secure residential, commercial, and public spaces in the future.

Lack of awareness about fire hazards, building structure and the right tools leaves Indian residential complexes and commercial spaces prone to fire mishaps. The records from 2019 Accidental Deaths & Suicides in India, released by National Crime Records Bureau reported 11,037 fire accidents across the country in 2019.

#IAmFireSafe campaign aims to raise awareness on fire hazards, as a vast majority of citizens lack information on how to avert a fire accident, which might ultimately lead to a catastrophe.
