Cult.fit appropriate TREAD, launches fitness equipment

Cult.fit is India’s integrated fitness and wellness platform. Cult.fit established in 2016 by Ankit Nagori and Mukesh Bansal. Cult.fit has under its umbrella eat.fit, mind.fit, sugar.fit and care.fit, offering digital and offline experiences in fitness, nutrition, and mental well-being. Cult.fit has raised over $170 million in its first two years of operations. On September 5th 2019, Cult.fit launched its sportswear brand Cultsport. Cultsport offers apparel that is functional for workout formats like running, field training and gym.

Cult.fit announced that it was appropriate tread, a Bengaluru based fitness start-up that recently launched a fitness bike. TREAD established in 2020 by Dinesh Godara, the founder of ed-tech start-up Wifistudy, which acquired by Unacademy in 2018. The accession will help Cult.fit to launch its products. Since the last year, when Cult.fit launch of digital at-home fitness. The platform has seen a massive turnaround in live workout classes on its app. Cult.fit launched a suite of fitness hardware products.

The accession of TREAD is the first step to launch a suite of products like fitness bikes, bench and many more. The prime motive of the company is to blow up into the fitness hardware market. The company further on its path to becoming India’s leader in everything related to fitness.

TRADE has developed a fitness bike similar to a peloton but at one-third the price. This bike will have so many features like live workouts, leaderboards to compete with others. Users can also participate in virtual tournaments. They can also enjoy the scenic rides in their favourite virtual locations.

The amalgamation of TREAD’s hardware and Cult.fit’s digital content will create an exhilarating experience for customers. Cult.fit also help the TREAD to customer reach and offline distribution.
