KFC, the fast-food company, is launching a fried chicken-themed pop-up hotel in London’s Shoreditch this month. It will be open for 11 nights starting August 18 to commemorate the 11 herbs and spices used in KFC recipes.
KFC is an American fast-food business based in Kentucky’s Louisville region that specializes in chicken fried. It has 22621 restaurants in 150 countries across the world as of December 2019. The brand was a part of Yum! Brands, which also has the Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Wing Street franchises. It’s a restaurant firm that has 22621 restaurants in over 150 countries worldwide.
A ‘Press for Chicken’ button will be available at ‘The House of Harland,’ which is named after Colonel Sanders, the creator of KFC and company mascot. This “chicken concierge service” would serve them with complimentary chicken wings all day, making every KFC fan’s fantasy come true. The hotel will be decorated with chickens, a special theatre will play ‘chick movies,’ and a Hot Winger arcade game will be available.
Guests will be picked up from London’s King’s Cross station by a black Cadillac, dubbed the “Colonel mobile,” and transported to the hotel, where they will be greeted by a “Chick in” receptionist before entering room number 11. From 11 a.m., it’ll be available on Hotels.com. On August 11, a one-night stay will cost £111 (about Rs 11,400) and customers can receive up to £100 (roughly Rs 10,300) in complimentary chicken. Guests also get a KFC fee of $139 – and the goal is to avoid overconsumption.
You will get access to an arcade “Hot Winger” and a private film using the topic of chicken. Rooms are adorned with poultry themes, and according to an advertisement from the press, visitors can slide in sheets or use towels with the chicken pattern.
The money raised will be donated to the KFC Foundation. To engage their customers, some companies are turning to experiential marketing. Oreo, the cookie company, just opened an Oreo Cafe in New Jersey’s American Dream Mall. In addition, Walt Disney has announced the opening of ‘Star Wars: Galactic Star cruiser,’ a Florida resort that mimics a cruise ship sailing through space and will allow fans to engage with their favourite characters.
