Sept 7, 2012: Parag Milk Foods Pvt Ltd, one of the largest dairy companies in the country has launched its new range of milk :Go Milk” in West Bengal. Go Milk is a 100% natural and zero preservative ultra-heat temperature (UFT) milk, commented a company official. The milk will be available in the market in two variants- “Go Milk” and “Go Slim”. Go Milk and Go Slim will be available in all retail stores in India and is priced at Rs 45 per liter and 50 per liter respectively.
In India, increasing urbanization and health conscious working women class are driving the demand for ready-to-drink milk. According to experts, the safety aspect of UFT milk and its brand of ‘ready-to-drink’ will increase its popularity in Indian households in near future.
