Tech Mahindra declared that it is teaming with amazon web services (AWS) to build a solution that is based on blockchain technology. The blockchain solutions which is built on amazon managed blockchain was introduced to its global customers using AWS and other leading organization. The company is an AWS partner network (APN) advanced consulting partner.
Blockchain which is managed by amazon is a fully managed service that helps in making it easy to create and manage scalable blockchain networks with the help of popular open-source frameworks. Being a part of the collaboration Tech Mahindra will provide solutions for aviation, telecom, and healthcare supply chain which includes kit management for aviation and aerospace for effectively tracking and trace ‘kits’ as they are procured from multi-tier suppliers in the aviation industry and for enhanced visibility for the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) within the expected time of the arrival (ETA) for business to the consumer(B2C) for the supply chain in the telecom industry and the healthcare industry for tracking and identification of fraudulent medical materials such as personal protective equipment (PPE) kits, face masks, gloves, and sanitizer through the medical supply chain.
Rajesh Dhuddu leader of blockchain and cybersecurity of Tech Mahindra said that global business has been suffering headwinds and also struggling to collectively steer and strategize new unchartered territory for helping the business continuity in the current COVID situation in the world. Supply chain continuity ensuring is paramount and hence needs more attention in the coming times.
Organizations are advised to adopt technologies such as blockchain to represent the challenges and create a competitive advantage for themselves. Tech Mahindra’s collaboration with AWS will support for a future pandemic to get prepared and increase an economic rebound post-COVID for the organizations for operating global supply chains and eliminates siloes.
Recently tech Mahindra has launched a blockchain-based digital contracts and right platform which is built on the top of IBM’s blockchain to provide help to artists from the media and entertainment industry for tracking their revenue, royal payments, and digital rights.
Tech Mahindra also planning to build and deploy an array of blockchain solutions on amazon managed blockchain across industries such as banking and financial services, telecom, retail, manufacturing, oil and gases, and others within the next 12-18 months.
