3D Predict is an international software developer and dental aligners manufacturer based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, which is launching in the U.S. with a new headquarters in New York. The medical technology company has acquired global recognition for its unique AI software which constructs highly precise 3D models of the smile inclusive of the bone, crowns, and roots.

The 3D models are habituated to design dental aligners. 3D Predict aligners stop tooth movements that are anatomically not possible resulting in 50% fewer teeth alignment righting and a 30% reduction in treatment time. FDA clearance is received by them in February.

Marina Domracheva, M.D., Founder and CEO of 3D Predict stated that as a result of today’s COVID limitations, nowadays more and more doctors are making their option in favor of clear aligner therapy in opposition to braces. Treatment using clear aligners are safer and more convenient for doctors and patients in the current environment because it needs less frequent and shorter discussions with less manual procedures.

In U.S. Orthodontics is almost a $2 billion market today, with 5 million patients beginning orthodontic treatment every year. Roughly 4 million of those are complex and moderate cases. 3D Predict uses root and bone analysis for greater predictability to treatment which is different from other aligners and braces. They give information to orthodontists about potential treatment obstacles, for instance, root collision which shows how roots will move during treatment and it permits doctors to work out a more predictable and safe treatment plan.

The 3D Predict aligners are planned on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology which boosts effectiveness, the number of corrections will be reduced by half and related chair time by 30%. By this it allows doctors to expand their margin and save time for new patients.

The application of AI-technology in aligners provides doctors with a depth of information about the tooth which was not available previously. The 3D Predict provides meticulous detail using data that permits doctors to examine the tooth as a whole yielding better outcome for the patient.

3D Predicts proprietary software combines data on patients’ crowns, bone, and real roots. The orthodontist is allowed to analyze the tooth as a whole, make a more effective treatment plan stopping at least five extra patient visits due to a reduction in corrections.
