Adobe is the most relied-on digital reader and editor, globally. The software has been everyone’s number one choice since 2012. The reason being how handy the software is and how it is available on any system, be it Mac or Windows.
When it is coming to Adobe India, we are observing big steps and changes. Recently, Adobe India appointed Prativa Mohapatra as its new Vice President and Managing Director. With this milestone, Mohapatra becomes the First Woman ever to lead the global software company.
Mohapatra has experience of around 25 years in the marketing world. She started her career at PwC India as Senior Managing Consultant. Eventually, she joined IBM, where she led the sales department for the Indian and South Asian sectors.
From here she was promoted as Vice President of Digital Sales for South Asia and from there she became the VP and MD of Adobe India. Prativa Mohapatra is known for her involvement in mentoring women to have their own leadership journey.
Mohapatra’s strengths include forming teams that connect to achieve huge milestones and guiding her team to transform the business. Before her path in the business world, she began her ambitious journey to success by completing her B.Tech in Computer Sciences and Engineering from NIT, Odisha.
Following which she completed her Post-graduation in Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. Her specialization was in systems and finance.
Her role at Adobe includes looking into Adobe India’s business and growth opportunities across three units, Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Adobe Document Cloud. Adobe’s President for the Asia Pacific, Simon Tate will be the one Prativa Mohapatra would be reporting to.
The senior office head who would be reporting to her will be Nitin Singhal, senior director, and MD, DX Business, Adobe India; Girish Balachandran, director – digital Media business, Adobe India and Vyshak Venugopal, head – solution consulting, Adobe India.
