Snapchat Announces its Latest Sports Reality Show

NEW DELHI: Snap Inc., the Latest Sports Reality Show from Snapchat. The parent firm of Snapchat, has introduced its newest local original, 100 percent with Shayamal, a sports reality show starring Shayamal Vallabhjee, a sports scientist. It will premiere on September 25th.

Snap’s creator shows that are one-on-one, personality-driven shows that are only available on Snapchat. All shows are vertical, full screen, and episodes average three to five minutes in duration and which are suited for mobile on Snapchat’s to Discover. The Snap debuted two creator shows in June: Anushka Sen’s What’s on My Plate? and Vir Das’ The Most Epic Max Show.

Known for working with the top sportsmen to improve their sporting skill and vigilance, Shyamal will share insights into how he applies science to his work with pros from all around the world in 100 percent with Shyamal.

“We have always believed that investing in the  local content and enabling the local production partners is critical,” says the company “Snap chat’s head of the international originals, Amanda Krentzaman, said in a statement. “Sports science is at the forefront of modern training, and this series provides insight into Shayamal’s methods,” says the author “she continued.

The platform has claimed that over 70 million viewers in India have watched Snapchat Shows in the previous year, according to the platform, which has benefited the app’s growth. Snap’s daily active user base in India had grown by over 100% every quarter for the last five quarters as of March 2021.

Short-form material is becoming which increasingly popular among Indian OTT viewers. Disney+ Hotstar, Disney India’s video streaming service, had been announced a slate of short-format episodes that will be available on which the site beginning in May. Eros Now, the video-on-demand service has owned by the Eros International Plc, introduced a new category called the Eros Now Quickie in 2018, which featured mini-series with 8-10 minute tales that they were spread out in over 8-10 episodes and the numerous seasons. Tata Sky Ltd, a direct-to-home television business, and also announced a collaboration with Shorts TV, a London-based television channel devoted to short films.
