TCL Electronics India joins FilmG’s MyGlamm Filmfare OTT Awards 2021 as a co-sponsor.

Some years ago, OTT platforms dominated India’s entertainment world. COVID housing closures and residential closures have led many folks to confer with OTT stadiums as a source of entertainment.

The Filmfare Awards have enjoyed and seen the fun of cinema within the regular film business for over six decades. The launch of the second phase allows the brand to expand these awards into the digital industry.

In an email, Vijay Kumar Mikkilineni, chief marketing officer and head of AC Business Unit, TCL India, revealed that this year, the corporate has seen good sales of 4K HDR video cameras.

4K was the rationale for this purchase. “The Internet has seen a dramatic increase in numbers during the sales of the Amazon Great Indians and Flipkart‘s Big Billion Days Days. Our online contribution is near 40 percent during (sales),” Mikkilineni said. When it involves buying big tickets, many Indians favor to touch and listen to the merchandise before buying it.

“Mikkilineni added that there’s a giant difference between a smart TV and Android TV. Not all smart TVs with Google TV are approved by Google TV. “At TCL, we’ve got Android TV sets certified by Google TV. Customers need this guaranteed Android to enjoy the unlimited content,” he concluded.
