Paytm has put aside $100 million for holiday marketing campaigns

Paytm has stated that over the festive season, the business and its partners will spend Rs 100 crore on marketing initiatives.

To promote digital payments in India and educate customers about Paytm UPI for money transfers, Paytm Wallet, and Paytm Postpaid (Buy Now, Pay Later) for spending, these advertisements will be aligned.

The firm has also launched “Paytm Cashback Dhamaka,” a cashback festival that will begin on October 14 and will give users the opportunity to win cashback for money transfers, online and offline payments, and recharges made through the app. The goal is to make attractive offers and encourage more people to utilize Paytm’s digital payment instruments around the country.

From merchant partners’ stores to large retail outlets and digital platforms, the campaign would be implemented across all Indian districts. Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka would be prioritized.

During the peak holiday season (October 14-November 14), ten lucky winners will win 1 lakh each day, 10,000 users will receive $100 in cash back, and another 10,000 users will receive $50 in cash back.

As Diwali approaches, users can win up to 10 lakh rupees per day (November 1-3). Users can also compete for prizes such as an iPhone 13, tickets to the T20 World Cup, shopping cards from famous brands such as Levi’s and Leaf headphones, and much more.

Paytm users can get cashback on mobile, broadband DTH recharges, utility bill payments, money transfers, purchasing transport (flight/bus/train) tickets, paying credit card bills, booking cinema tickets, FASTag payments, transactions at online and offline Kirana stores, and much more.

The offer is valid for payments made through all of the company’s primary payment mechanisms, including Paytm Wallet, Paytm UPI, Paytm Postpaid (Buy Now, Pay Later), and credit/debit cards.

“Our goal is to drive financial inclusion in India by enabling more and more users with digital payments,” a Paytm spokeswoman stated.

 Users now come to Paytm for utility bill payments, recharges, and money transfers, among other services, and can choose from a variety of payment instruments such as Paytm Wallet, Paytm UPI, net banking, and Paytm Postpaid.

“The Paytm Cashback Dhamaka was introduced to celebrate the festive season with our users and provide them with amazing cashback and prizes,” a spokesman added.
