Extramarks, India’s most trusted ed-tech company, is gearing up to host the first-ever ‘Extramarks (EM) Weekender,’ a two-day learning and leisure festival.
It offers both online and offline education and courses. It was established in 2007 and is based in Noida, India. Extramarks has partnered with 9,000 public and private schools as of March 2018. It has a student body of over 8 million and an internet user base of over 1.1 million.
The virtual event is being intended to be a rich and engaging experience for kids, parents, and educators from the comfort of their homes in order to celebrate learning through Education, Entertainment, and Inspiration.
Extra marks first annual edition of ‘EM Weekender’ will make this fest extra special by hosting various live sessions in the form of virtual talks and workshops led by renowned storytellers, inspirational achievers.
uThe impact creators across domains such as nutrition, mental health, parenting, creativity, photography, music, entrepreneurship, public speaking, and more, based on the company’s unique approach that extends beyond traditional learning structures like classrooms and books.

Students will not only be introduced to the fun side of learning through workshops, games, and music, but they will also be inspired by distinguished lecturers and inspiring creators from diverse fields.
We want to instill in young learners the belief that learning is possible no matter where they are, and through this event, we hope to inspire them to embrace learning in new ways, through meaningful conversations, inspiration, and entertainment.
Combining education and entertainment, the distinguished panel of educators and industry experts will also address several important issues such as mental health, empowering children, turning a passion into a career, effective time management, dealing with peer pressure, and developing nutrition awareness, all of which will benefit both students and parents.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak with Dr. Zirak Marker, Senior Psychiatrist & Advisor at Mpower, about psychological health, Anurag Dixit of Musicology about the importance of music in children’s overall development, Rujuta Diwekar about better nutrition, Tahira Kashyap Khurrana about real-life parenting, and Mithali Raj about cricket.
