With the New Year approaching, everyone has been reflecting on the previous year.

The year 2021 began with many uncertainties for the Indian television industry; however, Zee TV saw this as an opportunity to spread positivity among its viewers by introducing inspiring narratives to deliver a reassuring message of hope throughout all of its shows.

The channel debuted some thought-provoking, larger-than-life narratives in 2021, which kept viewers glued to their television screens. The channel also introduced two comedy shows to bring cheer and joy to viewers who were going through a difficult time in their lives.

Aside from new shows, the channel continued to add new twists to all of its existing properties in order to keep the entertainment factor at an all-time high.

Zee TV began the year by introducing two new shows, the first of which was an intriguing and inspirational fiction show called Teri Meri Ikk Jindri, and the second of which was a clutter-breaking singing reality show called Indian Pro Music League.

Teri Meri Ikk Jindri was an intense drama set in Amritsar about two passionate but diametrically opposed individuals who looked past their differences in approach to life to fall in love with each other.

While Jogi (Adhvik Mahajan) refused to participate in today’s rat race, Mahi (Amandeep Sidhu) was an expert at all of her household chores and was also the first girl from Amritsar to drive a taxi for female passengers. She wanted to start an all-female cab company and control her own destiny.

Zee TV used the show to inspire its viewers to believe that anyone can achieve anything in life if they work hard for it.

The Indian Pro Music League, created by Zee TV in partnering with FATHOM Pictures, is the world’s first-ever music league championship, bringing the thrills of a competitive sports league to the world of music. Kailash Kher, Shilpa Rao, Javed Ali, Bhoomi Trivedi, Shaan, Aakriti Kakkar, Mika Singh, Asees Kaur, Ankit Tiwari, Payal Dev, Sajid Khan, Neha Bhasin, and others competed on the grand IPML stage.

The Indian Pro Music League enchanted the audience with legends such as AR Rahman, Salman Khan, and Govinda, as well as some mesmerising new talent. Finally, brand ambassador Bobby Deol’s Punjab Lions were crowned the season’s winners.

With the pandemic having left a bleak atmosphere in its wake, Zee TV aired two unique and highly entertaining comedy shows to lift the nation’s spirits by providing much-needed laughter.

‘The Happy Hour Show’ attempted to brighten the faces of the entire nation during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic by featuring the most ‘LOL’ instances of the country’s favourite Bollywood stars.

On the ‘Zee Comedy Show,’ Zee TV presented an entire spectrum of comedy, ranging from stand-ups to hilarious skits, spoofs, and parodies, with the goal of brightening everyone’s mood with some rib-tickling comedy.
