Omega Seiki Mobility unites with IGDTUW

Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) represents agility, speed, and capable leadership. It was founded in the year 2016. It has become equal to India’s sustainability success.

The focus of the company is to build the science behind mobility solutions with experienced engineers and an energetic workforce. They aim to be the leader in India’s clean energy ecosystem: electric, solar, and renewables.

Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM), an electric vehicle maker has united with Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) to construct a center of excellence and R&D (Research and Development) center.

Under the treaty, OSM will handle the design, testing, simulation, prototyping, and production of automotive components, product development, and full vehicle development for EVs, telematics, and battery packs, with the students of IGDTUW.

The company stated that they will work with the students in developing, designing, and sample manufacturing a racing car for participating in several competitions globally.

OSM mentioned that the main aim of the alliance is to develop and set up a state-of-the-art testing lab and equipment and EV battery charging and has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

By integrated approach of connecting automobiles and society, Omega Seiki Mobility trusts in generating sustainable mobility solutions. The company’s focus is to gradually create a clean ecosystem with safe, eco-friendly, and congestion-free mobility.

The alliance with IGDTUW is to build a brighter future for women engineers. OSM’s state-of-the-art R&D center planned to provide internships to students from the institute, said the Founder and Chairman of OSM, Uday Narang.

He also mentioned that a mix of educational capabilities and real-life experiences at OSM will make wonders in the EV industry and will inspire young women engineers to be a part of the electric revolution.

Narang stated that collaboration with the best university is not only a contribution to India but also to the world as a whole, via excellence in technical and scientific education and research that serves as treasured resources for the whole society and industry.

Amita Dev, Vice-Chancellor of IGDTUW announced that in the field of EV technology, the association of OSM and IGDTUW will strengthen the research and development.

Dev also declared that in the field of current automotive and mobility technology, this combination will be encouraging in the development of a state-of-the-art curriculum.
