Our nation has been affected by the first wave of the pandemic in 2019 followed by the second wave in 2020 and the third wave behind it after a few months.

The cases of the Omicron surge were noticed in India during the time period of June 2021.

But the official reports of Omicron cases were reported by October when two men got affected in Karnataka. And on November 2021, the world health organization put forward a few cases of the same.

The cases were just in hand numbers and the situation was mild and handle until after December 2021 and during the new year time the nation witnessed a sudden hike in the reports of Omicron Cases.

As per the latest reports to the day, on Sunday there were 33,647 new covid cases reported in India, and the week ended comprised of 18,290 new covid cases. The highest rate was earlier made by the second wave of the variant.

After a long period of lockdown and shutting down of the schools, colleges, and offices the government has made a move to open them partially after the second wave, and seeing the third wave mild they declared the full opening of schools, colleges, and offices expect the small classes of the schools.

And a shutting down of the same is not possible because the academic year already has been shuffled up due to the Pandemic and everybody in the space is been struggling to make up the actions.

The only way for the government to control the situation is to maintain curfew times and that to past eve and to implement the covid protocols strictly to the public and keep a check on it.

The recent reports also claim that across the globe there will be a rise of the Omicron cases and they also added that it will harden than the second wave.

The report also states that the hospitalization admitted rates are comparatively low than the last waves and that is the only peace of mind for the nation that it won’t take away any lives.

Due to the rapid spread, Delhi has taken official notes to take a break from the schooling and colleges and implement online works as it is one of the leading states which has the highest scale report of Omicron.

At the beginning of December the cases were just around the number 7,000 and beginning of the third week we saw a rapid rise which alarmed the government and that nation. In the blink of an eye, the change occurred.

Just in a week’s time, the cases got increase by 175%, when the second wave hit only 100% but the one relief factor is that it has not been highly infectious than the other waves.

The only way to make sure we are safe from the third wave is to get vaccinated and follow the covid protocols implemented by the government says the world health organization.
