Britannia Industries Limited has released a new television commercial (TVC) for Britannia Cheese highlighting the product’s high protein content and nutritional qualities.
The popular Indian food firm, which is part of the Wadia Group, is one of India’s oldest and best-known enterprises, well known for its biscuits. Their latest ad campaign aims to create awareness about the role of Britannia Cheese in children’s diet.
Proteins are without a doubt one of the most essential macronutrients to include in a balanced diet. Various studies have demonstrated that India has been facing a protein deficiency in recent years, affecting all consumer groups. According to an ICMR report published in 2020, four out of every five Indians do not consume the necessary quantity of high-quality protein.
“Britannia Cheese intends to promote awareness about the role of Britannia Cheese as part of children’s nutrition with the new ad,” the company states.
“At Britannia, we’ve always made sure that our products are exciting as well as good for our customers,” said Abhishek Sinha, VP of Dairy Business at Britannia Industries Limited.
The quantity of protein consumed by Indians is now below the recommended level, and here is where their new proposal comes in. Their goal is to educate and improve protein consumption among young Indians while also serving as a powerful culinary ally.
Britannia Cheese, made with the goodness of cow’s milk, is an important and delicious source of protein that parents may incorporate in their households, he further added on the campaign launch.
Sanjeev Singhai, Director India, Buchanan Group stated, “This is the first project opportunity with Britannia and that too an interesting one on the developing category with Britannia Cheese.”
In India, people think that all proteins are good and the same, regardless of their source, and that there is little difference in the quality of different sources. He added that it was their goal to educate customers about how having Britannia Cheese in their daily diet is an easy and convenient method.
It would help supplement the demand for high-quality proteins using their advocacy-based advertising tool Brand Power.
He also expressed that they look forward to continuing co-creating credible and engaging consumer content for Britannia products, which will help drive add-on trials and brand growth.
