The alliance is aimed at acknowledging farmers as pivotal pillars of the nation
National, 24th January, 2022: To acknowledge the ‘Backbone of India’, its farmers, Organic India – an innovative global leader with farmers as their pillars –announced a partnership with Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022, to be held on 20 February, in affiliation with Incredible India. At the awards ceremony, individual organic farmers will be felicitated with cash prizes and citations for their outstanding contributions.
The announcement of the association with the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards is being done in the days revolving around 14 January, which holds significance as an auspicious day for Organic India and its farmers since it marks the celebration of the harvest festival across the country.
Elaborating on the partnership, Subrata Dutta, Group Managing Director – Organic India, said, “At Organic India, we firmly believe in the ‘profits with purpose’ philosophy. Therefore, we consider farmers as our most important stakeholders. Throughout our journey, we have engaged with more than 2500 farmers and the number keeps rising each day.
