NBCUniversal’s SVOD service deepens presence in Asia Pacific through Amazon Prime Video Channels launch
Chennai – February 10, 2022– hayu – the all-reality, subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) streaming service from NBCUniversal – has launched on Amazon Prime Video Channels in India via the Prime Video app.
Targeting the broad base of viewers who are fans of the reality genre, hayu offers top reality TV content including: Keeping Up With the Kardashians and its spin-offs along with many others, including The Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules and Below Deck, Top Chef and Family Karma.
hayu has established itself as the must-have streaming service for fans of international reality TV with over 8,000 episodes of top reality TV content. hayu offers extensive choice, with a wide variety of unscripted sub-genres in English language including: Home and Design, Dating, Cooking, Fashion and True Crime – as well as exclusive content, such as: The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls’ Trip, and the latest season of The Real Housewives of Miami.hayu’s breadth of content uniquely super-serves reality fans, and subscribers don’t have to worry about spoilers as the vast majority of US shows are available on hayu the same day as their US broadcast.
And, for the first time, hayu will subtitle a selection of programming for Indian subscribers offering over 4,000 episodes in Hindi. Over time, more subtitled content will be added to the service as hayu continues to super-serve reality fans in the market.

From today, Prime members in India can access hayu with an add on subscription priced at Rs.999/year.
