An engaging conversational digital campaign featuring Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, Lakshmi Rana, Ankita Konwar Soman, Kanika Dhillon and Aishwarya Sridhar that emphasizes on celebrating holistic beauty which is beyond the boundary of societal set norms
New Delhi, 10th March 2022 – On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Omni channel platform Boddess launched a digital campaign, #BoddessAtEveryAge which highlights the concept of timeless beauty as every woman, irrespective of age, owns her beauty through each stage of her life.
Drawing inspiration from 5 remarkable women, director & writer, Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, supermodel Lakshmi Rana, fitness icon Ankita Konwar Soman, author, and screenwriter Kanika Dhillon, and, wildlife photographer Aishwarya Sridhar, #BoddessAtEveryAge aims to seep inspiration into the everyday common woman to accept every shred of woman that she is – without finding belonging in what makes a woman “too much” of anything. From being “too confident” in her skills at work, and having an attitude “too unapologetic” for it, women have been awarded many labels for living outside the narrow confines of society’s definition of a beautiful woman. From getting branded as “too exotic”, their skin color “too dark”, their style “too geeky”, or their figure “too plump”, these women rose above the impossible standards set for women to remind us to accept the beauty in our femininity on our own terms.
Sharing her thoughts on the campaign, Sutapa Chatterjee, General Manager – Marketing Boddess [House of Beauty], says, “Celebrating womanhood has been at the core of Boddess’ philosophy since its inception. Our debut campaign #IamMany was also focused on embracing diverse personas embodied by women world over. With #BoddessAtEveryAge we aim to spark a conversation with every woman who has to maneuver her way through society-imposed norms of beauty and femininity and encourage them to define their own kind of beautiful.”
Comprising of snippets of 5 real stories, the videos showcase their individual idea of beauty and how they redefined it.
In unison they say – Do not let yourself be defined by preconceived notions or beauty standards. Celebrate yourself, break norms and own your individuality – Be a Boddess!
