JioSaavn collabs with Shankar Mahadevan for “Find Your Dhun.”

My Country, My Music is a rich cooperation between music master Shankar Mahadevan and JioSaavn, South Asia’s premier audio OTT platform, and OnePlus, the top technology brand, and Warner Music India, India’s leading music label, announce the introduction of My Country, My Music. The recently released music video for the opening single from My Country, My Music – ‘Dil Ki Dhun,’ shot solely on the OnePlus 10 Pro, takes advantage of OnePlus’ superior camera experience, which is supported by Hasselblad’s 80-year legacy of photography expertise. JioSaavn is now the official home of the worldwide released song. 

Dil Ki Dhun is based on JioSaavn’s fundamental campaign idea, “Find Your Dhun,” which was designed and conceptualised by Creativeland Asia, JioSaavn’s creative firm. The Shot on OnePlus music video, directed by Ishaan Nair and produced by Creative Studios, makes use of the state-of-the-art Second-Generation Hasselblad Camera for Mobile with the OnePlus Billion Color Solution. 

The video’s concept is that we are surrounded with dhun in even the most mundane of things. Every instance contains its own distinctive dhun, from slow traffic to a speeding train, from tea being cooked and poured at a local stand to a group of children playing gully cricket. Many of these occurrences that we see on a daily basis are depicted in the film, which also features Shankar performing the wonderful song in his melodious voice. 

The Sony IMX789 sensor, which can record in 4K at up to 120 frames per second, 8K at 24 frames per second, and Movie Mode, which offers video capture in the LOG format, which is preferred by videographers, brings the notion to reality. 

The four short films, directed by Sajan Raj Kurup and produced by Creativeland Studios, depict how a Dhun may change people’s moods, fortunes, and overcome obstacles. Rakita Rakita by Dhanush from the movie Jagame Thandiram, Santhosh Narayanan & Dhee, Dangal by Daler Mendhi, and an original mix of the viral success – Kacha Badam by Bhuban Badyakar – are among the “Dhun’s” included in the flicks. 

Merlin, the independent digital music licensing partner, has expanded and strengthened its current music licencing arrangement with JioSaavn, South Asia’s most popular music and audio streaming service. 

Last year, JioSaavn and Mondelez India teamed up to launch a dynamic audio description campaign. This campaign aims to leverage live data to offer hyper-personalized contextual adverts by unwrapping the enhanced possibilities for digital audio advertising. JioSaavn has also collaborated with Nestle KitKat in the past. 

In 2020, JioSaavn released ‘Predictions To Light Up Festive 2020,’ a digital audio playbook that can assist marketers in making the most of the approaching festivities. The playbook will examine streaming data from the 2019 holidays and the 2020 calendar year in order to forecast consumer behaviour over the holiday season.
