Aveda and Nykaa have teamed up to establish Prestige Salons

Aveda, the global leader in quality hair care, has partnered with Nykaa, India’s top omnichannel beauty, and lifestyle destination, to develop Aveda X Nykaa, giving salon savants in India a new destination for the scalp to soul experiences. 

 The first Aveda X Nykaa salon debuts in Bengaluru, India’s garden city, with a totally upgraded salon experience. Aveda is planning to introduce its international hair solutions to Indian consumers with this opening, which will be bolstered by Nykaa’s Indian beauty experience and deep market understanding. 

The Indian Beauty and Personal Care Market were valued at INR 1,267 billion in 2019, having grown at a CAGR of 13% over the previous three years. ELCA Cosmetics Private Limited and FSN Brands Marketing Private Limited (a substantial subsidiary of FSN E-Commerce Ventures Limited) have teamed up to join the professional, luxury haircare styling sector, establishing brand awareness and authority. 

 By extending Aveda’s exclusive network of salons and using Nykaa’s retail ability and awareness of the Indian consumer, the salons hope to create new industry standards. The salons will function as a one-stop-shop shop in the shape of a unisex lifestyle salon, offering 100% vegan luxury hair services such as color, haircut styling, and haircare, as well as exclusive revitalizing ritual. 

Aveda, which was founded in 1978, pioneer’s botanical technology and green chemistry by merging the ideas of modern science with Ayurveda, India’s ancient healing art. It develops cruelty-free, vegan, high-performance products for beauty professionals and consumers, all while keeping the environment in mind. Aveda’s hair products are made up of over 90% natural ingredients and contain unique ‘pure-fume’ scents derived from flower and plant essences. 

Aveda’s global expertise in natural hair care and Nykaa’s retail and Indian beauty expertise will be combined in this cooperation to cater to conscientious consumers seeking differentiated and efficacious experiences. This partnership is designed to increase recruiting, awareness, and sales across all primary channels while maintaining distinction and relevance.
