Tata Salt emphasizes the benefit of using ‘authentic’ salt

23rd May 2022: In Uttar Pradesh, Tata Salt debuted its most recent advertising campaign. The new television commercial, titled ‘Har Narangi Pack Tata Namak Nahi Hota,’ emphasises the significance of choosing real, high-quality Tata Salt rather than any look-alike, fake alternatives available on the market. 

 The campaign’s major goal is to raise consumer knowledge about the dangers of buying knockoffs and to help them make the best decision possible. 

Nobody enjoys being betrayed, especially when the betrayer is “ne aapka namak khaya hai.” This is the amusing thinking behind two new Tata Salt advertisements in Uttar Pradesh. The aim? To raise awareness about bogus packets. 

To effectively promote the benefits of using authentic Tata Salt, the instructive advertising films feature Ravi Kishan, a superstar and a well-known face in the region. It warns consumers of deceptive items and encourages them to make responsible decisions for their family’s well-being. The multilingual TV commercials are currently airing in Uttar Pradesh and its neighbouring states. 

As the commercial begins, Kishan offers a box of ladoos to a couple who owns a kirana shop. When they notice that he has opened a kirana store across the street from theirs, the lady screams, “You’re a shameless individual! You ate our salt for 12 years and now you’ve created a business to compete with us?” Kishan, who maintains his cool, grabs a packet of salt from their store and declares, “This salt you’re selling is an imposter.” “But it’s also cheap,” she adds. “And it can cost you dearly too,” he says as he knocks the package into a pile of other packs on the counter. 

“Imitator and counterfeit products could pose consumer health concerns,” said Deepika Bhan, President, Packaged Foods, India, Tata Consumer Products. Consumers accidentally pick up several look-alike brands because their labels seem similar to Tata Salt. These knockoff products, on the other hand, may be unable to achieve the desired benefits and quality assurance that vacuum evaporated Tata Salt can. This new 360-degree marketing campaign for Uttar Pradesh is an effort to educate both trade and consumers about the importance of choosing real Tata Salt and making the best decision for their health.”
