Vistas Media Capital’s digital licencing platform Fantico will launch its first metaverse experience, called VistaVerse, in partnership with the highly anticipated movie Vikram from Raaj Kamal Films International. The film has a great star cast like Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil. This movie is a Lokesh Kanagaraj directed crime thriller and the music is handled by Anirudh. The actor Kamal Haasan himself with producer R Mahendran produced the movie. Fantico’s soon-to-be-launched metaverse VistaVerse will also sell Vikram NFTs, which will be a ticket to the experience and give buyers access to unique character artwork, digital avatars, props, posters, mystery boxes, film memorabilia, fan interaction moments, private screenings, invite-only access to a travelling VistaDome party, and the option to convert some of the NFTs into real underlying tangible assets. The limited-edition Vikram NFTs will be released on May 18, 2022, at the Cannes Film Festival, where people from all over the world who are interested in movies will be present. The world is moving toward NFTs that are useful to the person who owns them, and Vikram NFTs are the first of their kind in India that give the owner real benefits. Vikram NFTs will also get the first crack at buying virtual land in Mumbai and Chennai. VistaVerse is the first in-game asset to be released in India with this launch.
VistaVerse is a metaverse that will be released by Fantico in an exclusive partnership with Lotus Meta Entertainment. It has a marketplace, experiences, games, and a way to buy and sell virtual land. VistaVerse has a lot of partnerships with big brands, famous people, musicians, gaming companies, artists, and production houses in India so that it can offer a one-stop metaverse experience. Even though this is the first of its kind, VistaVerse plans to release many more in the coming months.
Abhayanand Singh, Group CEO of Vistas Media Capital, said this about the launch of VistaVerse: “We are very excited to announce the launch of Vikram NFTs in VistaVerse, which are the first utility-based NFTs that give the owner multiple benefits. We think VistaVerse is the first real and tangible metaverse in India. It is backed by 350 creative enthusiasts from Vistas Media Capital’s seven businesses.
Kamal Haasan, a veteran actor, said about the launch of VistaVerse, “It’s been a pleasure to be a part of Fantico, and I’m looking forward to VistaVerse, which is in a unique position to build a bridge between fans, fandom, and talent in a language and on a platform that today’s youth can relate to.” I’m sure this will set a standard for other creators who want to use blockchain to change the way content is made in their own work.
