He may be an old friend you run into on the streets of Kolkata or a coworker with whom you enjoyed a meal; he could say everything is good, or he could reach into his bag for a pistol — appearances can be misleading! Bob Biswas, a narrative about the deviance of a dangerous contract assassin with amnesia, will premiere on &pictures on June 11th at 10 p.m. Prepare to get sucked into a world of thrills and mystery with Abhishek Bachchan as Bob Biswas. Diya Annapurna Ghosh, a talented debutant director, brought Bob to life with tremendous sincerity, giving him an archetypal look and emphasizing the value of each nuanced character as the movie progresses. Also features Chitrangada Singh as Bob’s wife Mary, who is dealing with emotional and financial difficulties while living with a husband who has no recollection of their life together after an eight-year coma.

“Bob Biswas is a well-crafted character, the complications of having a dual life as a family man and a hitman have been mindfully fleshed out,” Abhishek Bachchan stated of the role. We spoke about ways to make Bob appear unobtrusive and normal. Even though the film is set in Kolkata and Bob is a local, we decided against giving him a Marathi accent because, to be honest, I don’t have one and neither does Bob. Bob Biswas is a fascinating and lifelike character thanks to his meticulous attention to detail. And the setting we created for Bob was suited for his alter personalities.”

The plot revolves around serial killer Bob Biswas, who has lost all memories of his deadly profession due to memory loss. The film depicts Bob’s existential agony by highlighting his conscience issue, in which he is continually torn between his work and his morality. He is attempting to re-establish contact with his wife and children. He is, however, engulfed once more in his past life as a cold-blooded serial killer. A network of murder, crime, and conspiracies follows. Don’t miss the &pictures premiere of Bob Biswas on June 11th at 10 p.m.
