Entertainment Person of the Year goes to Ted Sarandos

The Cannes Lions festival has selected Ted Sarandos, the co-chief executive officer of Netflix, to receive the Entertainment Person of the Year award for 2022. This award is presented annually in recognition of the entertainment industry’s significant impact on the marketing and communications landscape over the years. The celebration of creative endeavours to inspire others to produce fascinating, relevant, and entertaining content will serve as its objective on OTT platforms. The award Sarandos has worked so hard to acquire will be presented to him on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at the live Awards Show, which is part of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
