The National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), a constituent board of the Quality Council of India, has accredited Connectel, an Indian compliance-driven provider of forensic investigation services with a focus on digital forensics, document analysis, and crime scene investigations, as the first and only laboratory in the nation.

These are used for conversion tracking and recording apps used by telecommunications companies to produce call detail records (CDRs) in real-time, as well as applications used by businesses to continuously use this data to boost productivity.

Forensic testing in digital, physical documents, handwriting, signature, translations, transcriptions, and crime scene investigations are currently accredited by Connectel’s Forensic Division. Plans for the development include adding services like DNA testing, serology, toxicology, ballistics, and chemicals to create a fully integrated lab that can handle various forensic investigations.

Connectel is being led from the front by businesswoman Priyanka Agrawal, who has over 25 years of professional expertise. Priyanka Agrawal and Rajendra Kumar Agrawal, the leaders of Connectel, are proud of the company’s commitment to standards of excellence, credibility, impartiality, and punctuality in releasing test results.

“We take great pride in having helped our clients most safely and privately possible. To make it a comprehensive operation involving all aspects of the investigation, we have plans to expand our operations to more areas within forensics, says Priyanka Agrawal, Director, Connectel. She holds an MBA and LLB degree and plans to begin soon working on her Ph.D. in criminology.

The forensic team at Connectel is predominately made up of female forensic experts, who are skilled in carrying out digital forensics, handwriting analysis, signature analysis, photo verification, fingerprint analysis, questioned documents analysis on legal documents, translation, and counterfeit currency examination.

Data recovery, virus analysis, CDR analysis, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, forensics in mobile, computer, and CCTV, as well as audio/video verification, are all included in the field of digital forensics. Connectel provides a variety of services, including photography, crime scene reconstruction, and evidence collection and packing.
