In an effort to promote equality and the rights of the LGBTQ+ community, PokerBaazi.com, the largest online poker site in India, has teamed up with internationally renowned illustrator Jasjyot Singh Hans to celebrate pride month and launch the “All are Equal at the Table” campaign. Singh Hans is known for his works that celebrate beauty in all colours, shapes, and sizes.

The advertising campaign tries to illustrate a straightforward yet lovely connection between poker and everyday life. Our culture must enable people to express themselves and use their rights regardless of their orientations and identities, just as everyone is treated equally at the poker table and is free to choose how to play.

As a part of the promotion, Jasjyot has designed a unique themed poker table that players on the site may utilise to demonstrate their support for the LGBTQ+ community.

“PokerBaazi has consistently aimed to promote an egalitarian poker environment in India. With this campaign, we seek to spread the message that poker is a sport that respects all players equally, that there are no distinctions made at the poker table, and that only your ability can represent you there. The campaign is our tribute to the group of people who have spent years battling for their identity. According to Mr. Navkiran Singh, founder and CEO of Baazi Games, the company that owns PokerBaazi.com, “We are certain that with “All are Equal at the Table” we will be able to not only increase awareness but also drive solidarity for the community among our poker community in India.

The marketing and association were also discussed by Jasjyot, who said, “Working on this project was a unique experience for me, to have my designs translated by the team to match the gameplay standards. To design a Pride theme and provide something for both the LGBTQ+ community and its allies makes me so happy!

The advertising campaign tries to illustrate a straightforward yet lovely connection between poker and everyday life. Similar to how everyone is treated equally at the poker table and is free to choose their own strategy, our society must permit people of diverse orientations and identities to express themselves and enjoy their rights.
