The movie opens to the sound of mellow music as Malaysian performance artists and the airline’s cabin crew warmly welcome viewers to watch the safety demonstration video before outlining the eight simple safety do’s and don’ts in a punchy, musical narration read by the nation’s well-known figures and characters, from an Olympic gymnast demonstrating the emergency brace position to a rock band asking people not to smoke on airplanes to characters from the Harimau Malaya football team singing about the value of seat belt safety.
The enhanced concept of Malaysia Airlines’ in-flight video is consistent with the airline’s new business practices and consumer travel, as interest in travel has continued to increase as borders across the world have been reopened. While the film’s central message emphasizes the value of safety on board, it also gives viewers the chance to feel the friendliness and diversity of Malaysia, whether they travel on Malaysia Airlines or watch it from the comfort of their homes.

Beginning in August 2022, Malaysia Airlines passengers will be able to watch a condensed version of the updated safety video while in flight, with the full version soon becoming available as part of the airline’s comprehensive in-flight experience and entertainment fueled by its renowned Malaysian Hospitality.
The film debuted at an event held at the Petaling Jaya Performing Arts Center. It was created in partnership with Infiniti, an award-winning Malaysian group of businesses offering world-class experiences in entertainment, travel, and education.
