They tend to avoid going to the movie theatres as the charges compared to the OTT were quite high and retrospective.

This revenue made rising profits for the platform that must increase the rate of doing the web series and shows. On top of that, the cast of these famous series has also started to double the fees as they saw a venture rise in the profits that made headlines. These actors playing the lead roles in these web series have waged bills that cost almost 50% of the total production cost that was at the streaming service. Adding to that, it has increased its wage charge by 20% by the early terms and conditions that were signed at the time of the contract.
This cost was specifically low pre-pandemic, but with time and an increase in the viewership, the actors made a 10% advancement to their salary charge from the producers of the shows. The common actors who are famous for playing iconic roles in the web series for the streaming service have their demands for the paycheck that shall be attained by the producers. Pankaj Tripathi who played the character of Kaleen Bhaiya from Mirzapur has been charged 20 times for season 2 than season 1. Mirzapur; a famous series aired on Amazon Prime Video has attained widespread attention from people across the nation.
Actors such as Radhika Apte, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui have attained massive fame from these web content and OTT platforms. These actors are now having their demands that incur the producers of the shows. Often these demands are not fulfilling and must be kept in the terms of negotiations.
