Jon Steinlauf, Chief U.S. Advertising Sales Officer of Warner Bros. Discovery, recently announced the leadership team for the company’s new joint Advertising Sales group, which was created earlier this year with the merger of Discovery, Inc., and Warner Media.

He says that WB. Discovery has the greatest collection of brands to offer advertisers, and their new leadership team will unlock that unique value to best drive success for our clients. He also adds that this organizational structure combines strengths from each legacy organization with a set of client-focused, results-oriented leaders across brands and platforms who will create innovative, impactful advertising opportunities for their partners.

Senior leadership team appointments that were announced recently and will be reporting to Steinlauf are as follows:

John Dailey will direct Cross-Company Partnerships and New Business. He had recently served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Sales for Discovery, Inc., and worked as a conduit for partners interested in combining multiple Discovery assets to effectively reach the best audiences across Discovery’s portfolio of television and digital properties.

Jon Diament will manage linear and digital sales and revenue for TBS Sports, Adult Swim, Animal Planet, truTV, Science Channel, TNT Sports, Discovery Channel, NBA TV, and Motor Trend. Laura Galietta will direct Integrated Advertising Sales Marketing across all digital and linear properties. Karen Grinthal will manage linear and digital sales and revenue for Food Network, TLC, TBS Entertainment, OWN, Cooking Channel, Cartoon Network, and WB Syndication. Jim Keller will set a strategy for Warner Bros. Discovery streaming and digital products including HBO Max, discovery+, CNN Digital, and Sports, as well as handle Advanced Advertising, Programmatic, TVE, Sites & Social, and VOD.

Sheereen Russell will continue to guide Warner Bros. Discovery’s DEI content monetization efforts, now as a direct report, and will use the WBD portfolio to meet the increasing marketplace demand for DE&I possibilities. Sheereen will also keep her leadership position within OWN.

Robert Voltaggio will take care of Pricing & Planning and will also manage Sales Support, Commercial Operations, and Direct Response. Andrea Zapata will be in charge of Research, Data, and Insights. She previously held this role at Warner Media, supervising research for the company’s portfolio of linear and digital brands, marketplace intelligence, category, and client insights, and outcome-focused research for advertisers.
