Registering 3X growth in two years, Petpooja continues to thrive in India and overseas

16 August 2022: Petpooja, India’s leading restaurant billing software provider that helps SMBs with holistic business management solutions, has registered a whopping 3X growth in just two years. The platform recently shared this & many exciting insights into its successful journey in India and international markets.

In the Indian context, Petpooja has about 35k customers across the country. It has been running at a monthly ARR of 6X for the last two years. The platform has scaled from 1200 customers a month in the pre-pandemic days to more than 3000 customers a month today. It currently targets 4k+ customers (33% MoM) growth.

On the market front, Petpooja has been onboarding 3000+ restaurants every month, with more than 50% of outlets from Tier 3 and 4 regions. As of now, it has an extensive list of partners, including La Pino’z, Berco’s, Havemore, Giani’s, TGIF, and The Beer Café. The platform plans to strengthen its network by collaborating with leading names like Paytm payment devices, ONDC, WhatsApp Integration, Gupshup, and Knowlarity.

In a small period, Petpooja has been able to successfully establish itself internationally. It has become the restaurant POS provider for more than 250 clients, primarily in the Middle East countries like Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, South Africa, and Canada. Some of its renowned partner restaurants include Vasanta Bhavan, Anjappar, Sri Ashwarya Restaurant, Spinzer, Moti Mahal restaurant, and Chaat Bazaar. The platform is now looking at onboarding more than 500 restaurants in the next quarter.

Furthermore, Petpooja is building a partner ecosystem by collaborating with various service providers in the FnB space. It has already partnered with a payment processing company with a strong presence in UAE to promote integrated payment solutions for the Middle East market. In this context, Noon Foods is another partnership already LIVE for UAE clients. Moreover, integration with a few other players like Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem, and Hunger Station is in process and will go LIVE soon for all users.
