With this campaign, Decathlon aims to inform consumers about its plans for India, which has long been a significant part of its overall business strategy. In 1997, Decathlon officially started manufacturing and exporting in India, and the rest is history. Currently, 60% of Decathlon products, are made in India, and the brand aims to increase this share to 85% by 2026. Additionally, for other countries, Decathlon continues to manufacture products in India, and most of the hockey equipment is mainly exported to various parts of the world.   • Since 2017, Decathlon has partnered with a cotton yarn producer in Gujarat to provide organic and recycled cotton for clothing and equipment.
  • Similarly, hockey boots are made in Dehradun, Kanpur, and Tamil Nadu, post-consumer waste PET bottles are recycled polyester from Nashik, and 59% of woven and 75% of knitwear sold in Decathlon stores, are made in India.
