Henkel Consumer Brands unveil aggressive growth plans

With its recent professional and consumer achievements, Henkel Consumer Brands, the premier German consumer goods corporation, is poised to solidify its position in India’s hair color and care sector.

Schwarzkopf, a 120-year-old brand, has innovated by blending high-quality ingredients with cutting-edge hair care technologies. The brand, known for its professional quality and science-backed hair innovations, joins the at-home hair color area for the first time with two new lines, Colour Specialist and Simply Color. For the India launch, the company chose colors that complement Indian skin tones.

Due to urbanization and changing lifestyles, the Indian hair color industry is predicted to expand by 17.5% by 2026. The epidemic also changed customer behavior, prioritizing at-home convenience, making it a good time for the brand to join the business.

Henkel Consumer Brands’ Schwarzkopf Professional division named Mira Rajput Kapoor India’s first Hair Muse. Mira’s grace and elegance represent the brand’s principles of innovation, empowerment, and evolution. Mira will promote Schwarzkopf Professional’s worldwide tradition of altering, reinventing, and upgrading hair in a compelling campaign.

The successful combination of the company’s beauty care, laundry, and home businesses will allow the Indian market to continue to access foreign top sellers.

New at-home line: Colour Specialist, a permanent, fashion-forward hair color containing Hyaluronic acid, reduces hair damage by 90%. Simply Color covers grey hair without ammonia or silicone. Dermatologist-tested and PPD/PTD-free, it delivers color without compromise. Colour Specialist costs INR 675 and Simply Color INR 725.
