Bengaluru, January 23, 2023: Dailyhunt, India’s #1 local language content discovery platform, today has announced a collaboration with popular German international broadcaster, Deutsche Welle (DW) to bring content on the latter’s ‘Sehat Talk’ series, in short-video format on its platform. Curated under Dailyhunt’s Vibecheck programme, the ‘Vibecheck with DW’ series is presented in Hindi as well as Indian Sign Language in an effort to create inclusive content.
Created by DW Hindi, ‘Sehat Talk’ is a news show focussed on sharing information on mental and physical well being with a special focus on women’s health. The video series covers a wide range of topics, including menstrual health, pregnancy, nutrition and sexual well-being. The series has been curated based on studies published by the World Health Organisation, National Library of Medicine (USA) and Cancer Research UK, among others.
Taking on a unique approach towards content delivery, under the Vibecheck programme, Dailyhunt has on-boarded an interpreter from Inclusive Divyangjan Entrepreneur Association (IDEA) who co-hosts the ‘Vibecheck with DW’ series with DW’s Editor and communicates the news content in Indian Sign Language. As part of the collaboration, short videos are made available on DW Hindi’s channels on both Dailyhunt and Josh App.

The ‘Vibecheck with DW’ series is currently live on DW Hindi’s channels on Dailyhunt and Josh App, and every Monday five new videos will be made available till April 2023. The video series has received tremendous response and has garnered a viewership of 50.7 million across Dailyhunt and Josh App in just four weeks.
Vibecheck was launched early in 2022 in collaboration with IDEA and RedFM to create content that is informative and inclusive. The programme also won a Publisher Abby at the Goafest 2022.
