Anam Zubair, Head of Marketing at WeddingWire India – a part of The Knot Worldwide, said, “The startup ecosystem has contributed immensely to India’s growth, especially in the last few years. We are glad that we could narrate the stories of the ones that made it all possible. Most importantly, break a myth that has been popular since time immemorial of how one should never mix business and love. After talking to these entrepreneurs, we have realized that it is a notion that is far from reality. At WeddingWire India, we are committed to driving such conversations- conversations that bring a positive change to society.”

Swati Bhargava, Co-Founder of Cashkaro, said, “Often people ask how you manage business and love together. Our answer is simple: we believe in the cause we are working towards as much as we believe in each other. Hence, we support, criticize, and uplift each other to drive home our mission. I am grateful to WeddingWire India for providing co-preneurs like us with a platform to share our stories, and at the same time, I am hopeful that this will encourage more young couples to take a plunge to venture into entrepreneurship.”

Ghazal Alagh, Co-Founder of Mamaearth, said, “The journey as co-preneurs is not easy but definitely worth it as you are building something meaningful with the person you share your life with. I am glad that we believe in the same vision & with the same passion. Even if our story encourages one person or better, one couple to start a venture together, it will all be worth it.”

Param Bhargava, Co-Founder of The Ayurveda Co., said, “It is a unique endeavor by WeddingWire India. Shreedha and I are glad to be a part of this. It is not easy building a business, let alone building it with your partner. We are fortunate that we found the right formula to strike a balance. I hope that our story encourages couples to let go of their inhibitions and try their hands at co-preneurship.”
