Punjab 12 April 2023: Tripat Girdhar, the founder and Principal Architect of The Design Studio, Chandigarh, was bestowed with the title of Most Admired Architect in Punjab on 7th April 2023. At an event hosted by the Sarva Rithu Seva Foundation at the Hotel Raddison Red in Mohali, the award was presented by Shri Harpal Singh Cheema (Finance Minister Government of Punjab, Punjab Vidhan Sabha). The awards ceremony was attended by the jury members, Padma Shri Ar. C.N. Raghavendran and Padma Shri Sudhir Kumar Jain, as well as the honorable minister of housing and urban development of Punjab, Sh. Aman Arora, and the honorable spokesperson and member of parliament for Punjab, Sh. Raghav Chadha.
ACES of Punjab is an event organized by Sarva Rithu Seva Foundation, A non-profit organization that has three wings – Medical, Education, and Service, based in Punjab. The foundation was inaugurated in 2019 and running by Dr. Saajan Sharma, Arun Hooda, and Anmol Luthra, Directors of SRSF.
The award has been presented to Ar. Girdhar as his remarkable design of Architecture not only for Punjab but for our country. Ar. Tripat’s inventive designs not only reinterpret India’s architectural roots and traditional acumen in a contextual vocabulary but also dwells Indian architecture on a world stage. The Design Studio is an Architectural, Engineering, and Interior Design firm with prominence in the verticals of Urban Planning, Commercial, Residential, Educational, and Industrial Architecture. Headquartered in Chandigarh, The Design Studio comprises a team of over 23 dynamic architects and engineers and currently working on projects across 6 Indian States and also handling assignments internationally including Australia & New Zealand. Ar. Tripat has also been awarded the title of ‘CREDAI Destination Punjab 2019’ by the Hon’ble Minister of Housing & Urban Development, Punjab – Sukhwinder Singh Sarkaria, for the project Address Boulevard which is the tallest building in Punjab.
