Starbucks’ first outlet by October end

Sept 29, 2012:  The largest coffee chain of the world, Starbucks will open its first outlet in India in South Mumbai by the end of October.   The Seattle based coffee chain which has entered into equal partnership with Tata Global Beverages announced the first cafe to be opened in South Mumbai’s Horniman Circle area.

The company also plans to open 50 more outlets in the country by the end of the year 2012. According to company sources, changing lifestyle of Indian consumers has surged the demand for coffee in the country and this pose them huge growth potential in the market.
